  My name is Jo, and I am a 20 year old freelance journalist based in Essex.
I have been an avid reader and writer most of my life, my favourite books include "The Belgariad by David & Leigh Eddings" and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
I have had a dream of successfully publishing a novel since I was around 12 years old, and becoming a freelance journalist is my first serious steps into the word of publications and editors.

This is currently a new venture for me. Although my writing history is extensive, I have had very little work published, and no official qualifications besides my GCSE's in English and an AS level in Literature & Language combined. Don’t; however let this stop you from continuing onto my website. My lack of qualifications is not through lack of skills or lack of interest, I merely came to the conclusion that I didn't need a degree to write successfully, and would therefore save myself the university fees.
